REAL REASON WHY SPEAKER MUTURA WAS ARRESTED.

Nairobi County Assembly Speaker, Benson Mutura, has been arrested.

Mutura was picked up from his City Hall office on Wednesday, April 20, afternoon and taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters on Kiambu Road for questioning.

Although the reason for his arrest has not been made public, reports indicate that DCI officers raided his office and apprehended him.

Photos of him in handcuffs surfaced online minutes later.

Moments before his arrest, Kenyans.co.ke , spoke to Mutura where he affirmed that he would issue a press statement later and disconnected the call immediately.
