RAILA ODINGA GETS CURSED

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has taken a dig at President Uhuru Kenyatta claiming that he is going against his father’s wish by supporting ODM Leader Raila Odinga.

The outspoken lawmaker, who was speaking at a Kenya Kwanza rally in Gatundu town, stated that by backing the ODM supremo, Uhuru is going against an alleged 1969 oath that he claims was administered on their community members by the founding President Jomo Kenyatta.

“Uhuru is going against his father’s wish by supporting Raila Odinga and he knows what Kenyatta said. We even took an oath never to support Raila for the presidency and that is why we are backing Ruto,” Kuria said.

Speaking at the same rally, Deputy President William Ruto accused his boss of backstabbing him despite being there for him in his high and low political moments.

Ruto beseeched Gatundu residents to remind the Head of State of how far they have come together.

“With a lot of humility, I am sending you the people of Gatundu with a message to my friend and brother President Kenyatta to remember how far we have come together. Tell him to vacate the political battle between me and Raila,” he said

Accompanied by his Kenya Kwanza principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula among other leaders during a tour of Gatundu, the DP appeared to have toned down his previous hardline stand against the President.

“I am asking my friend the President not to use the same political sword we had used together to undermine me. He should leave me to face Raila in the race for the presidency,” Ruto stated.
