US LAW PROFESSOR EXPLAINS IMPACT OF RUTO’S US TOUR

Deputy President William Ruto will be travelling to the US for the first time in a decade.

The DPs usually travels to Africa and Middle East countries raising suspicion that he may be banned from travelling to the West.

The rumour has been debunked as he is set to visit US and UK. During the tour he will meet government officials from both countries.

Commenting on the visit, Harvard trained law professor Makau Mutua opined:

“The reported visit by DP @WilliamsRuto to the US and the UK will do nothing to burnish his image, or his DISMAL international standing. Officials there who meet him KNOW his multiple corruption scandals and grave allegations against him at the International Criminal Court.”
