TENSION ERUPTS AS GOVERNOR’S TRUCK BURSTS INTO FLAME

Business in Maragua Constituency, Murang’a County has come to a standstill Sunday afternoon. This was after campaign truck belonging to Murang’a County Governor Mwangi Wa Iria busted into flames while the Governor was addressing the area residents.

Mwangi Wa Iria was launching his “Usawa Nation” around Murang’a County which sensitises of an equal nation whereby both the rich and the poor can speak in one volume. Mwangi Wa Iria had launched this project all in line with his presidential bid in 2022 whereby he has shown his interests.

The campaign truck did not only bust into flames but destroyed hawkers goods who had gathered to here their Governor. The Governor together with his team that were on the dais managed to flee before they got burnt by the flames.

According to sources, no casualties have yet been reported despite the huge smoke as well as tension that erupted from the incident.
