FORMER MINISTER’S WIFE DIES

Former Cabinet Minister William Ole Ntimama’s widow is dead, the family has confirmed.

Pedelai Ntimama died on Saturday morning.

The widow had kept a low profile since her husband’s demise in September 2016. Ntimama, a towering Maasai elder, held different portfolios in both the Moi and Kibaki Cabinets.

The Ntimama family has faced difficult moments in recent times. Last year, the former Narok North MP’s youngest daughter died in her Nairobi home.

Vivian Talash Ntimama is said to have suffered from cardiac arrest.
