GOVERNOR WANTS TO LOCK DOWN HIS COUNTY

Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has said his county could be put on lockdown if the surge in the number of coronavirus infections continues.

The tough-talking county boss asked residents in the North Rift county to strictly adhere to COVID-19 containment measures.

“Residents must take seriously the health protocols put in place to contain the spread of the deadly pandemic to avoid putting the county under the list of disease risk zones,” the Kenya News Agency quoted Mandago.
