TAKING A SELFIE KILLS 3 PEOPLE IN LAKE VICTORIA

Three people have died, two others still missing after the boat they were riding in capsized at Arongo beach in Seme, Kisumu county.

The deceased were visitors from Nyandarua county who had travelled to Seme to bid farewell to their colleague who was buried on Saturday, March 20, and went for a first-time boat ride.

According to Citizen, the boat lost control after one of the occupants rose up to take a selfie.

Three people were rescued from the tragedy which occurred on the evening of Saturday, March 20, and a search mission for the missing two has been launched.
