FORMER GOVERNOR’S SON BRAGS ABOUT BEING ARRESTED 15 TIMES

Maybe it’s knowing your father has enough money to bail you out or it’s just general disdain to follow the rule of law. Whichever reason, a former governors son has stunned Kenyans by saying he has been jailed over 15 times.

Brian Ndung’u son to former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu was arrested for drunk driving. Instead of appearing remorseful, he said he doesn’t care if he is jailed.

He bragged about being a jailbird and appeared to even be looking forward to some jailterm. “I have been arrested more than 15 times so going to jail for me is not a big deal,” he said.

The irony of this is that he is studying to be a lawyer yet he relishes breaking law. He told the court that he will not be raising the 30,000 fine instead he accepts the three month jail.

He was all smiles in court making people wonder if he was enjoying the whole ideal. It is not clear why the family did not step up to pay the fine. Maybe they are tired of bailing him out everytime he breaks law.
