LIST OF AREAS THAT WON’T HAVE ELECTRICITY OVER THE WEEKEND.

Kenya Power and Lighting Company announces Areas that will experience a power blackout over the weekend.

The company usually gives prior notices about the scheduled power outages as per rule 27 of the Electric Power Rules.

It is necessary to interrupt supply periodically in order to facilitate maintenance and upgrade of power lines to the network; to connect new customers or to replace power lines during road construction.

KPLC will interrupt the supply of electricity over the weekend in the following areas:
