POWER BLACKOUT HIT PARTS OF KENYA- HERE’S WHY.

It is a dark Wednesday night in Western Kenya, Rift Valley, South Nyanza and some parts of Nairobi as they experience power blackout.

Reports revealed that there was a technical hitch which affected two major lines supplying power to these areas.

“We would like to apologise to our customers for the inconvenience caused and reassure them that our technical team is currently working to identify the root cause and restore power to the affected areas,”

Kenya Power and Lightning Company (KPLC) said in a statement.

The company assured customers that it would provide update on power restoration in due course.

Kenyans took to social media criticising Kenya Power over the power outage.
