A SAD STORY OF WHAT MADE JALANG’O TO LEAVE MILELE FM

Milele radio host Felix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalango has called it quits with the Milele radio station. The media personality has been hosting the morning show at Milele Fm with Alex Mwakideu from July 2018.

The comedian posted on his social media platforms that he has been having discussions with the powers that be at Mediamax but their talks did not bear any fruit.

“I was not at work today because we had not agreed on a lot of things and terms and even as we speak my HR had me on hold discussing the terms of my employment,” Jalango wrote.

The comedian’s last day at the media house was on friday 19th of June. Jalango went a head and thanked his fans for supporting for two years, since he joined Milele FM.

“Unfortunately, we didn’t agree. So just like that I won’t be at work tomorrow or any other day. I want to thank everyone who supported me and every fan who was with us to the point that we became the most popular no 1 radio station in the country,” Jalang’o added.

This came just few hours after it emerged that mediamax had fired all newsroom staff with exception of only two news anchors.

An anonymous source revealed that, the employees who were fired refused to agree to 50% pay cut that had been proposed by the media house. Sadly, it was also revealed that they fired those who had agreed on the 50% pay cut.
