Kiss FM presenters Felix Odiwuor (Jalang’o) and Kamene Goro have landed a show at NTV.
The show will be airing every Monday to Saturday at 6pm and at 7:30pm on Sundays.
A poster seen by a local media indicated that part of the money raised by the show will go to schools in need of food and hygiene resources to fight Covid-19.
The duo also host the Kiss FM breakfast show which they have co-hosted since Jalang’o officially joined the station in July 2020.
Jalang’o is a renowned media personality who has also diversified into the digital market with two Youtube shows.
In one show, he and his former co-host Alex Mwakideu showcase the process of constructing a home from scratch while in other, he brings in guests and interviews them.
The comedian has been climbing up the entertainment ladder, landing opportunities in media as well as company endorsements.
In December, he and renowned comedian Daniel Ndambuki (Churchill) launched a new show dubbed Shika Dream.
The Shika Dream Show focuses on helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams by offering equipment to fans who send a 30-second clip explaining why they need the equipment.
Content creators have been moving to the digital space where it is easier to get visibility for their content and get endorsements.
TV and radio stations on the other hand have adopted a strategy of hiring people who already have an audience because it makes it easier to build traction for new shows.
Earlier in February, Gospel musician Linet Munyali known to many as Size 8 has landed a job at Milele FM, where she hosts a weekly show.
