38 teenagers caught in sex party in Kisii

38 teenagers have been arrested after they were caught partying at Ogembo in Kisii. Among them were 34 boys and four girls. Despite the current pandemic situation, the teenagers were engaging in sexual activities and definitely not maintaining the one metre rule.

Jabel Munene, county commander reported that 14 used condoms were found in the room where these teenagers were caught. The police also recovered different brands of alcohol chang’aa included.

The teenagers who were aged between 14-20 years were taken to kisii school pre-quarantine centre.

The teenagers will serve 14days in quarantine, Kisii county Public Health Director Dr Richard Onkware said.

“We will not take chances. Our county surveillance teams will do everything possible to ensure that we have reduced Covid-19 infections by adhering to all the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.”

Joel Machuka who is the children welfare officer said that strong measures should be put in place to restrain school children from misbehaving.
