WILLIAM RUTO SENIOR STAFF HAS DISAPPEARED

Legal Advisor in the Office the Deputy President Abraham Korir Sing’oei has bolted out of Trans Nzoia County gubernatorial race.

In a statement seen by People Daily Digital, Sing’oei said he chose not to run so that he could remain loyal to his boss William Ruto.

The international law expert termed his decision as difficult and painful one and urged his supporters in the cosmopolitan county to accept it.

“Friends and comrades, I have taken the difficult decision not to seek any elective position in the forthcoming elections. I know it is painful but we must stay focused on the prize,” he said.

The flamboyant lawyer revealed that a weighty issue informed his decision.

“There is no way I can betray the DP the way others have done. There is also no way I can abandon the people who have stood with me in this journey,” Sing’oei said.

He pleaded with his supporters to accept his decision and promised to give them the way forward as far as his next course of action is concerned.

“Soon, I will make it clear and provide further direction in our continuing search for hope and meaning for our people. Please accept my deepest gratitude to you all for your steadfast support and prayer,” he added.

His decision evoked mixed reactions from his supporters who were hopeful that Sing’oei stood a chance of becoming the second Governor of Trans Nzoia through United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
