‘Khalwale Aliua Mfanyikazi Wake’ New Details Emerge

Cleophas Shimanyula, also known as Toto, a prominent individual in Kakamega County with substantial interests in sports, construction, real estate, and transportation, has called for authorities to investigate the mysterious death of Mr. Moi, a caretaker on Senator Boniface Khalwale’s farm.

Mr. Moi, responsible for tending to the politician’s bulls, including the renowned Inasio, allegedly met his demise in an incident involving the bull.

Shimanyula expressed skepticism in a media interview, questioning the initial reports that suggested Inasio fatally gored Mr. Moi. He argued that the injuries observed on the deceased did not align with those typically caused by a bull’s horn.

In contrast, Senator Khalwale speculated that Mr. Moi might have been intoxicated during the incident, potentially provoking Inasio’s aggressive reaction.

The relationship between Shimanyula and Senator Khalwale has a history marked by tension, political conflicts, and public accusations.

In one instance, Khalwale accused Shimanyula of seizing government land near Bukhungu Stadium—a claim vehemently denied by Shimanyula, who asserted his rightful ownership of the land.

Another dispute involved allegations that Senator Khalwale received a substantial payment of Sh 10 million to withdraw his 2022 Kakamega gubernatorial ambitions in favor of Cleophas Malala.

This ongoing political rivalry reached a new level with the death of Inasio. Senator Khalwale resorted to spearing the bull as part of a cultural ritual practice following Mr. Moi’s tragic demise.

The circumstances surrounding these events highlight the complex dynamics between Shimanyula and Senator Khalwale, with their animosity playing out across various domains, including business, politics, and personal interactions.
