Gideon Moi’s Whereabouts Revealed

KANU Party leader Gideon Moi has emerged after remaining silent for a long time. His party had lost influence in the country after losing several seats and only managed to secure six parliamentary positions in 2022 poll.

The party supported Azimio One Kenya leader Raila Odinga in the 2022 poll, where he lost to President William Ruto.

Mr . Moi has been inactive in Azimio activities, including political demonstrations and key coalition meetings. Instead, he has been appointing his allies to represent him, a pattern also observed with Former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to a source within the party, it is speculated that the KANU leader is avoiding Azimio meetings to avoid being seen as openly criticizing or antagonizing President.

Consequently, KANU has launched party mobilization efforts in the Rift Valley region to counter the influence of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). The party has conducted meetings in several counties, including Bomet, Baringo, Narok, Kakamega, Samburu, and Migori.
