Politicians Planning to Sabotage Bipartisan Talks Exposed

It has emerged that a group of like-minded politicians of an undisclosed political coalition are planning to scuttle the planned talks between the leader of Government William Ruto and the leader of the opposition Raila Odinga.

The leaders are planning the scuttling of the talks over the fear of a power-sharing deal between the two leaders.

According to a reliable source, the disgruntled members who are faced with the uncertainty of losing their positions of influence are recruiting more members who share the same ideas with them to mount a vehement opposition to any dialogue between President Ruto and Raila.

Reportedly, the group wants to meet the President to present their argument on why they are opposed to any dialogue. It is uncertain whether President Ruto will humble himself and listen to their plea.

Meanwhile, the President has already given the go-ahead for his representative to engage with the opposition to find a neutral ground to end the violent and destructive anti-government protests.

The Azimio coalition has already selected their representative in the anticipated talks. The team is led by former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka. On the other hand, the ruling coalition is yet to release the team that will represent the President in the dialogue.
