Raila Odinga’s Whereabout Revealed Ahead of Protests

Hours after reports alleged that opposition leader Raila Odinga could have missed Azimio la Umoja protests due to some health issues, his daughter Winnie Odinga has broken her silence.

Speculations of Raila’s whereabouts were fueled by Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau, who claimed that Raila was missing in actions after an advisory from his doctor. Itumbi alleged that the Azimio leader had been asked to have a bed rest and that he could not make to today’s protests.

It is claims that quickly escalated, with some of the Kenyans claiming that Raila could have been admitted to Nairobi Hospital after a health concern

“Quick recovery, @RailaOdinga- take the 3-day Bed rest recommended by your cardiologist. However ukitaka teargas, pia ni sawa. Meanwhile Nairobi Hospital, Landmark Plaza and that location in Westlands where you’ve been, like most of Kenya,” read part of Itumbi’s allegations.

However, on Wednesday evening, Raila’s daughter laughed off the allegations, setting records straight on Raila’s whereabouts. She wondered who had spread the lies of Raila’s health concerns, saying the former Premier was well and that he had even discussed some gym stories with him some 30 minutes ago,a story she said she did not like

She went ahead to post Raila’s picture laughing. Raila has been missing on the public since Monday when he was spotted attending Azimio la Umoja parliamentary meeting before jetting back to Mombasa. His absence from Wednesday’s demonstrations left security personnel and Kenyans guessing on his whereabouts.
