Exact Time Protests Will Begin on Wednesday

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has directed a 12- hour curfew for Raila Odinga and his Azimio protestors.

According to the report, Kindiki has given Raila Odinga a go ahead to hold demonistrations on the said days particularly from 6am to 6pm with a condition that the demonistrations be peaceful and conducted in a manner that will not cause chaos and mayhem to innocent kenyans in their hustles.

“While the government has not banned public rallies and gatherings, the Law clearly allows such rallies to be held between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm,” CS Kindiki stated.

This comes as Raila’s planned demonistrations are expected to resume this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, however President Ruto has called a crisis meeting for tomorrow and Tuesday where Azimio emissaries who are set to negotiate on averting the planned demonistrations.

All eyes are now set on Raila Odinga on if he will call of his demonistrations or continue pressuring President Ruto lower the cost of living.
