TREASURY OFFICIAL GOES MISSING

Sad news to all Kenyans after this happened. Former Treasury official Tom Mokaya Osinde was reported missing on Saturday, June 24.

While addressing the press, the family claimed that his car was recovered, vandalised and abandoned in Kilgoris, Transmara West.

The family added that they last spoke to him on Friday, June 23, when he left home aboard the car.

Osinde, who lives in Ngata, Farm, Nakuru, is the brother of the late Ambassador Ken Nyauncho Osinde, who served in Germany between 2010 and 2014.

The family asked for help, urging the public or anyone privy to his whereabouts to contact them or file a report at the nearest police station.

Speaking to the media, Osinde’s family stated that they had recorded statements with the police and everyone was cooperating with the ongoing investigations.

“The most important thing is to help bring him back alive. As of now, everyone is putting efforts to ensure that our kin is back safe and sound,” a family member told the media.

The family also noted there was no one who they would immediately suspect of having endangered their kin or damaged his car.

Details available on the public database show that Osinde attended the University of Nairobi, where he studied economics. After graduating, he worked for the Treasury Department for several years.

He was known for his expertise in financial management, and he was well-respected by his colleagues.

In 2010, Osinde left the Treasury Department to start his own business. He was successful in business, and he eventually acquired a large property in Ngata, Farm, Nakuru.

He was also a philanthropist who donated generously to various charities. He was described by his family as a kind and generous man who was loved by his family and friends.

His disappearance has been a great shock to everyone who knew him. His family is desperate to find him, and they are appealing for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
