AZIMIO AND KK ANNOUNCES MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH

News reaching us just now is that the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition and the Kenya Kwanza bipartisan teams have finally reached an agreement on how the bipartisan talks should continue henceforth.

Addressing the media in a joint press briefing after today’s meeting held at the Bomas of Kenya today, the bipartisan committe co-chair Otiende Amollo announced that the team agreed on Framework agreement which will be unveiled to the public after all the members of the committee shall have signed.

The Rarieda Member of Parliament revealed that the Framework agreement is what defines the work that the bipartisan committe will undertake during the discussions.

“Framework agreement has been finalized and one’s it’s signed by the members, it will be shared to the public,” Otiende Amollo announced.

The co-chair also revealed that they agreed on the time-frame on which the bipartisan talks should take to be completed.

He revealed that the Kenya Kwanza wing had proposed a time-frame of 90 days while the Azimio wing wanted the talks to be completed in 30 days. He said that after deliberating on the matter, the committee agreed to finalize the talks in 60 days.

However, be revealed that the more urgent issues will be discussed and finalized within 30 days.
