RAILA CHANGES TUNE ON OPENING IEBC SERVERS, DECLARES WHAT HE WANTS NOW

Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has changed his tune on why he wants the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to open servers.

While speaking from Kilifi county, the opposition leader said that he wants the servers to be opened so that the truth can be known about who won the elections.

Raila said that he does not want the IEBC servers to be opened so that he can overthrow President Ruto from office, he said he only wants to know the truth and if the servers show that he lost the elections, he will accept defeat.

Raila Odinga further said that when election results were declared, there was a split in the IEBC commissioners when Cherera 4 denied election results while Chebukati and his group declared William Ruto as the winner. He stated that opening servers will establish who between the two groups is saying the truth.

Earlier while declaring anti-government protests across the country, Azimio la Umoja had declared that they will occupy the state house because they believe that they won the election. Raila also went ahead and declared his figures of election results from a whistleblower.

However, President William Ruto dismissed Azimio la Umoja demands saying that the election was over and IEBC servers were opened by the Supreme Court during the election petition.
