‘HATUTAKI RUTO, TUNATAKA BABA’ PROTEST ROCKS THE WHOLE COUNTRY

Business in Nairobi CBD came to a standstill on Tuesday evening after some angry city residents joined hands to demonstrate.

This was in the busy Moi Avenue whereby the residents gathered to demonstrate against the high cost of living and failure by the new regime to fulfill its promise to lower it.

These rowdy city dwellers could be seen dancing and singing in unity as they protested. If that was not enough, they started singing that they did not want William Ruto as their president as they wanted Raila Odinga who narrowly lost to Ruto in the just concluded 2027 general elections.

The chants of “Hatutaki Ruto, Tunataka Baba” grew louder and louder as the demonstrations continued thus showcasing their anger with the incumbent Government of President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Unfortunately, they will have to wait till 2027 general elections
