Going by dates for the half-term break for term one, which occurred exactly six weeks after the learners began term one on April 25th, now all learners are required to take another break of one week in readiness for the start of term two of 2022.

Consequently, all the parents with children in primary and secondary schools could anticipate receiving their children at home in late this week.

The first Term , according to the Ministry of Education’s 2022 academic year calendar, will end on July 1, 2022, when students across the country will begin their holiday break, which will remain until July 10, 2022.

On July 11, 2022, the official second term of the 2022 academic year will begin.From August 11th to August 14th, all students will take a three-day mid-term break.

Second term will expire on September 17th, 2022, allowing for a holiday that will extend until September 25th.

This academic year’s last term will be seven weeks long.It will begin on September 26th and end on November 25th, with no half-term break for students.

Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) will begin on November 28th, 2022 and conclude on December 1st, 2022.

The Candidates for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) will begin sitting papers on December 2nd, 2022, and will finish on December 23rd, 2022.

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) will also give the first CBC exam to grade 6 students. Between November 28 and November 30, 2022, the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) will be administered
