Cabinet secretary for interior government coordination Dr Fred has spoken about 2022 election preparedness and and what he will do if the deputy President will be elected as the president of Kenya.

Matiangi said that as the law of Kenya dictates, everybody has no choice other than doing what the law requires, that is, whoever the independent and boundaries commission declares as the winner will be the voice of the people of Kenya.

” The law is very clear. You do not have a choice, neither do any one among us. When the people of this great country decides and it is read by the IEBC, we are bound by the law. No one will tell us something else.” Matiangi said.

Matiangi was responding to a question that he had been asked of what he will do as the cabinet secretary for interior if William Ruto will be elected as the president of Kenya putting into consideration he has shown impartiality by supporting Raila Amollo Odinga.
