HOW TO CHECK IF YOU’RE BLOCKED FROM VOTING

The register of voters is still open for verification of voting details until 2^nd June 2022. You can now verify your voter registration details by sending your Identification Number (ID), OR Passport Number to SMS Code 7000.

Here is the Procedure:

1. Go to the Messages App on your phone
2. Type your ID/Passport Number
3. Send the message to 7000
4. Example, 12345678#1234

You will receive an SMS with your;

• Registration names
• County of Registration
• Constituency of registration
• Polling station code
• Polling station
• Ward of registration

You can also verify your voter registration details online via the IEBC website, https://verify.iebc.or.ke/

Meanwhile, you can also visit your registration centre in your constituency to carry out the exercise.

In case your details are incorrect, visit your registration centre or IEBC office in your Constituency.
