JEFF KOINANGE DEFIES HIS SUPERIOR AT CITIZEN, CHOOSES TO WORK WITH COMPETITOR.

Famous citizen news presenter Jeff Koinange have gone against his superiors, Citizen tv and Royal media at large after chosing to advertise a product from a company perceived as a competitor.

This came just a few weeks after RMS Managing Director Wachira Waruru barred media personalities from working with advertising agencies or doing promos for several entities.

Jeff Koinange on Thursday shared a long post on his social media pages adverting for an agency, an action that the media house had previously warned his employees against.

The renowned tv presenter shared a long video on his platform then added a caption:

The presenter advertised new brand of Samsung phone, urging his followers to follow the company then purchase.

This action cane four weeks after the Mr Waruru barred his employees from engaging in these activities:

“Staff are prohibited against taking part in the following: a) advertising for faith, religion or equivalent systems of belief b) advertising for alcohol products, c) advertising for political parties and/or their candidates,” Mr. Waruru  said in a Memo to the employees
