EQUITY BANK DROPS A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

Electronic deception, fraud and conmanship have drastically increased in the current social economic system perhaps occassioned by the rising standards of living, unemployment and increased poverty levels posed by the ravaging corona virus pandemic.

In its quest to curb the spread of these potentially life threatening abnoxious acts, Kenya’s leading bank, Equity bank has fired a stern warning to its customers over the existence of fraudsters urging them to avoid falling victims of their henious acts.

Speaking via its Twitter page, Equity bank articulated that fraudsters have been on the rise, looking for ways to trick people. The bank further underscored that the only number it uses to communicate with its customers is 0763000000.

“Remember, a legitimate call from Equity will only come through 0763000000,” Equity Bank stated.

“Kataa Utapeli,” Equity bank stated urging customers not to engage with any other number pretending to be from Equity.
