HOW TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN REAL AND FAKE PHONE

It is always the wish of each and every one to purchase an original phone but the mobile phone dealers confuse the buyers by stocking both original and counterfeit phones.

In this article I am going to share with you methods that can help you distinguish between original and fake phones to avoid wasting money on counterfeit phones.

Firstly dial *#06# on the phone you want purchase. This will help you get the phones IMEI number. You can also get it by going to Settings then select the “About Device” option then choose “Status” option.

After getting the IMEI number, proceed to imei.info, copy the IMEI number on the dialog box and click on Check

Information about the phone will be displayed and if it indicates something different then it is likely to be a fake brand.

If the phone is a Samsung phone you can dial *#0*# to check on the functionality of the phone such as camera, sensor and LCD test. If you dial that code if the phone is original it should display details as shown below.
