SEVERAL MEMBERS OF ONE FAMILY KILLED IN BOAT ACCIDENT

Tragedy rocked Ruvuma on Monday, May 24, after a canoe turned over, leaving dead the six that were on board.

According to reports, the wooden vessel was overwhelmed by the waters in River Ruvuma, leading to its submersion.

The six were on their way to the farm when they met their tragic end.

Police in the locale confirmed the incident, stating five bodies had already been retrieved, with efforts underway to recover the remaining one.

The six came from the same family.
