KENYANS APPLAUD MIKE SONKO FOR HELPING DESTITUTE WOMAN

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has offered to help Beatrice Makokha, a woman from Bungoma County who went viral after a story detailing her struggle with a health condition was highlighted in the media.

Makokha has a growth that has covered her entire face, making her breathing difficult and vision a struggle.

In a statement, Sonko promised to help Makokha obtain medical cover that will allow her undergo  surgery in India.

“I’m appealing to the Star to help Beatrice open a fund for her medical assistance so that myself and other well-wishers contribute funds to ensure she gets proper medical attention,” Sonko stated.
