RACHEL RUTO GOING THROUGH TOUGH TIMES

The second lady said she had resorted to cycling events to lift her spirits signaling she could be facing tough times. She did not specify if the low spirits might be brought by the current politics of the country.

Rachel encouraged Kenyans to engage in sporting activities to maintain their health and stay in good shape even as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage the country.

“What a pleasure to have been joined by Eyal David, Israel deputy ambassador to Kenya, on a bike ride.

I encourage Kenyans to engage in sports activities that will keep you healthy and in good shape, she wrote on her Facebook.

She added while quoting Arthur Conan Doyle: “When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking.”
