Betty Kyallo cries as she’s fired from K24

After anchoring news on saturday night 30th May, Betty Kyallo has left Mediamax’s K24 barely two years after she joined the TV station as a presenter who would take the Uhuru Kenyatta-owned station to the next level.

Betty kyallo who also left KTN on August 2018 after eight years is no longer on air, she called it quits at K24 TV yesterday.

Yesterday the mother of one suprised her fans after announcing that it was her last day on the station.

Betty had recently hinted on her instagram page that she will probably quit, she asked her fans to watch her ‘today’ as she might not be available ‘tomorrow’.
“Hello from the other side, not sure about tomorrow so watch today,” she said.

Mediamax recently announced plans to fire employees over the adverse effects of Covid-19 pandemic to the economy. Betty was among the 36 employees who went to court and obtained an order to stop the salary cuts.

People expect that more can follow, with Anne Kiguta and radio presenter Felix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalang’o on the list. Jalang’o has not been on radio for sometime now, he said that he is on leave, which might be terminal.
