Grassroots leaders from the Wiper Patriotic Front have threatened to pull the party out of the united opposition coalition and launch a solo presidential campaign for Kalonzo Musyoka if his bid for the coalition’s presidential ticket is overlooked.The high-stakes ultimatum draws a clear battle line within the fragile anti-government alliance, completely ruling out any compromise that reduces the former Vice-President to a secondary role on the 2027 ballot.
