On Monday, October 12, the Council of Governors (CoG) elevated its Bungoma County governor Ken Lusaka to the position of vice-chair, in the process placing him on the national platform as the second most influential figure in the gubernatorial chiefs’ caucus.Lusaka was elected to replace his Tharaka-Nithi counterpart Muthomi Njuki who was picked to head the powerful governors’ lobby.
