Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) has appointed former Principal Secretary for Infrastructure John Mosonik Kipngetich as the new Chairman of its Board of Directors.In a notice dated Monday, November 2, 2026, KenGen said his experience in engineering, infrastructure development, strategic leadership and corporate governance would support the company’s G2G 2034 strategy as it seeks to strengthen its position in the energy sector.
