Betty Bayo’s Daughter Sky Victor Explains Why She Is Not Interested in Dating

Sky Victor has opened up about her decision to remain single, saying she has more pressing priorities than pursuing romantic relationships.

Sky, the daughter of the late gospel singer Betty Bayo and preacher Victor Kanyari, recently reiterated her position on dating, explaining that the demands of her personal life leave little room for a boyfriend.

“There is so much going on in my life for me to start thinking of having a boyfriend. That is the last thing,” she said.

The young content creator also revealed that advice from her late mother continues to influence how she approaches relationships.

Sky recalled that her mother had repeatedly cautioned her about dating, warning that boys could distract her from her goals.

“And even my mum has always been telling me boys will waste your time. And I am listening to her even when she is not here,” she added.

She said she would rather channel her energy into content creation and personal development than focus on finding a romantic partner.

“I will focus on my content,” she stated.

Her latest remarks echo sentiments she shared in June 2026 during a TikTok Live session, when she disclosed that she had never been in a relationship.

Sky said she intended to maintain that position until she turned 20, making it clear that dating was not among her immediate plans.

“Let me tell you, I have never dated in my life, and I will not date until I am 20,” she said.

Her comments have continued to attract attention online, with the young creator maintaining that her current priorities are her work, personal growth and other responsibilities rather than romantic relationships.

  • Ned Nwoko Breaks Silence on Regina Daniels Death Rumours, Threatens Legal Action Against Bloggers

Ned Nwoko Breaks Silence on Regina Daniels Death Rumours, Threatens Legal Action Against Bloggers

Nigerian senator Prince Ned Nwoko has strongly condemned the circulation of online rumours claiming that his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, is dead, warning bloggers and social media users against spreading false reports about her.

In a public statement, Nwoko urged the public to stop exploiting the actress’s health situation for online engagement and give her the privacy and support she needs as she focuses on recovery.

“Regina has been through a lot, more than many people may realise, and right now, what she needs most is love, support and the opportunity to recover,” Nwoko posted.

The senator expressed concern over fabricated reports about Daniels’ health, death and personal circumstances, saying such publications were causing unnecessary distress.

“I am particularly concerned about the circulation of false and disturbing reports about her, including fabricated death announcements, misleading stories and other hurtful content,” Nwoko stated.

“These things are not harmless social media engagement.”

Nwoko warned that those responsible for spreading misleading information about Daniels would be held accountable, revealing that the publications were being documented for possible legal action.

“We are documenting these publications, and anyone found responsible will be held accountable through the appropriate legal channels,” he wrote.

“There is a limit to what should be tolerated, and that limit has been reached.”

His statement comes amid heightened public attention on the couple’s relationship and Daniels’ health.

On October 10, 2026, Daniels marked her 25th birthday by sharing a video in which she appeared in a wheelchair and opened up about her health struggles.

The actress explained that what began as a minor condition had escalated into serious mobility difficulties.

The video came against the backdrop of public speculation about the state of her marriage to Nwoko. Addressing the circumstances, the senator maintained that her well-being remained a priority despite the difficulties the couple had experienced.

“Regardless of the difficulties we have faced, her well-being has always mattered to me,” he noted. “It is, in fact, the very concern that brought much of our private situation into the public domain.”

The senator also appealed to the public to consider the impact that online attacks and fabricated reports could have on Daniels and their children.

“I make this appeal not just for her sake, but also for the sake of the kids, who are very well cared for and deserve to see their mother supported, loved and given every opportunity to get better,” he said.

He urged commentators to avoid judging or vilifying the actress while she deals with her health challenges.

“As someone who knows what she has been through, I can tell you that this is not a time to judge, vilify or add to her burdens.”

Nwoko concluded by insisting that Daniels should be allowed to concentrate on her recovery without being subjected to repeated false reports.

  • Chebet Ronoh Reveals How She Blew Her First KSh1.5 Million on Alcohol at 19

Chebet Ronoh Reveals How She Blew Her First KSh1.5 Million on Alcohol at 19

Content creator Chebet Ronoh has opened up about her struggles with sudden fame and wealth, revealing that she spent much of her first million shillings on alcohol when she was just 19 years old.

Ronoh made the revelations during an interview with BBC News Africa, where she reflected on the challenges of navigating fame, friendships and financial responsibility as a teenager.

The content creator rose to prominence through viral social media videos, with her humour and quick wit earning her a growing following and attracting lucrative brand partnerships.

However, her rapid success came at a time when she was still trying to understand herself and navigate the pressures of adulthood without the guidance of established role models in Kenya’s emerging digital content industry.

“I didn’t real have role models, at that time especially in Kenya, there weren’t really a lot of creators. They were handful, they were having comedian from TV, and very few content creators. So, I was going through it as a teenager for the first time while also navigating friendship and alcohol and all these things. It was a disaster,” she revealed.

Ronoh said her introduction to alcohol had a significant impact on her personal life, opportunities and public image.

“As a teenager, I got introduced to alcohol and that really affected me, affected my opportunities, my selfhood as a person that in return was a big part of my public image. I’d say it wasn’t really easy but it was beautiful to experience.”

During the interview, Ronoh recalled making substantial amounts of money from brand deals, at one point working with four to five brands in a single month.

She said the earnings reached approximately KSh1.5 million, leaving her convinced that she was on her way to becoming a major star.

“I made my first million as a teenager at 19 and I mismanaged it. In one month, I think I was doing 4 to 5 brands and it reached like Ksh 1.5 million and I remember telling my mom, ‘Oh my God, this is it, I am going to be a star’ but my mom was trying to tell me we should invest,” Ronoh recalled.

Her mother, she said, recognised the importance of investing the money and tried to encourage her to make sound financial decisions. However, Ronoh admitted that she was not ready to listen.

“I didn’t want to hear none of that advice. So, I remember a lot of my money went to alcohol. I was still a kid, I’d say I was a teenager desperate for validation. I didn’t even know who I was, I just loved that people liked me and I wanted to prove so much to my friends,” she added.

Ronoh’s account highlights the difficulties young entertainers can face when financial success arrives before they have developed the experience or support systems needed to manage it.

She described her teenage years as a period of experimentation and a search for acceptance, during which public attention and the desire to impress friends influenced her decisions.

The content creator has since focused on personal growth and recovery, using her experiences to reflect on the consequences of her earlier choices.

  • Tash Explains KSh 10m Donation at Betty Bayo’s Burial, Reveals What Kanyari Told Him

Tash Explains KSh 10m Donation at Betty Bayo’s Burial, Reveals What Kanyari Told Him

Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, has broken his silence over allegations that he intended to misuse the KSh 10 million donated to support the children of his late wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.

Tash addressed the controversy in a video published on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, explaining the proposal he had made to Bayo’s former husband, preacher Victor Kanyari, concerning how the money should be managed.

The donations were made during Betty Bayo’s burial, with Deputy President Kithure Kindiki contributing KSh 5 million and President William Ruto donating another KSh 5 million. According to the report, the combined KSh 10 million was intended to support Bayo’s children.

However, the money became a subject of public disagreement after Kanyari accused Tash of allegedly intending to take control of the funds for his own benefit.

Speaking about the matter during court proceedings, Tash revealed that he had approached Kanyari with a proposal to place the money in a joint trustee account.

According to Tash, the arrangement would ensure that neither of them could access the funds until the children turned 18.

He further explained that the two had met at a place he identified as Glee, where they discussed the proposed arrangement.

Tash maintained that the account was not intended to give him personal control over the money. Instead, he said it would protect the children's interests by ensuring that both parents were unable to withdraw or spend the funds before the agreed time.

He expressed disappointment that Kanyari later went public with allegations suggesting that he wanted to establish an account to misuse the donation.

The widower also defended himself against claims that he was interested in benefiting financially from the children's affairs.

Tash said he had his own sources of income and insisted that he had not spent any of the money earned through brand deals involving the children.

He maintained that the earnings remained in an account and that he had continued taking care of the children.

In his explanation, Tash said he was prepared to account for the money generated through the children's brand activities, insisting that he had not used it for personal expenses.

Tash also revisited his disagreements with Kanyari over access to Betty Bayo's children.

He previously faced accusations that he was preventing the preacher from seeing them. However, Tash maintained that he had allowed the visits and claimed that videos circulating online showed him personally taking the children to Kanyari's gate.

He recalled one particular occasion when Kanyari allegedly brought the children back the same evening, saying they were very nagging and that Tash was the only person who could manage living with them.

Tash said he later questioned Kanyari about continuing to claim publicly that he was being denied access to the children despite such interactions.

According to Tash, Kanyari responded by telling him: "You don't have to worry about me. I'm a content creator."

During the same court related discussion, Tash also responded to a separate disagreement concerning a house allegedly mentioned by Kanyari in court submissions.

Tash disputed the claim that the property was located in Rwanda, maintaining that the house was actually in Kimbo, in an area he identified as Deke.

The revelations come amid ongoing disagreements between the two men over the welfare and custody arrangements of Betty Bayo's children.

While the KSh 10 million donation was intended to benefit the children, Tash's account has brought renewed attention to the dispute over who should manage the funds and how they should be protected until the children reach adulthood.

  • Mark Labbett takes brutal swipe at The Chase co-star Bradley Walsh’s fake game show

Mark Labbett takes brutal swipe at The Chase co-star Bradley Walsh’s fake game show

Mark Labbett takes brutal swipe at The Chase co-star Bradley Walsh’s fake game show

Warning: This article contains discussion of gambling addiction which some readers may find distressing.

Mark Labbett offered a brutal assessment of what he thought was Bradley Walsh’s new rival game show.

Despite starring on The Chase together, the quizzer who is better known as 'The Beast' didn't get a heads up about the true premise of Channel 4's Million Pound Shot.

He discovered that the tense scenes which aimed shed light on the dangers of gambling were a ruse at the same time as the rest of us – and didn't shy away from sharing his opinion on social media.

Labbett and Walsh, 66, have been working alongside each other for almost two decades, as they both joined The Chase when it made its debut way back in 2009.

Although the general knowledge expert, 61, appears to have a knack for anticipating a contestant's next move on the ITV programme, it seems he was initially fooled by Walsh's poker face.

Walsh fronted the Channel 4 which aimed to raise awareness of tricks used by the gambling industry (Channel 4)

On Sunday (1 November), viewers tuning into Million Pound Shot were expecting to watch a standard game show – but there had been some speculation that everything was not as it seemed.

Touted as a 'nail-biting, brand-new, one-off quiz event', the show featured three contestants who had the chance to win up to £1million.

However, the trio had to risk their own money on Million Pound Shot, which is something that Labbett complained had 'been done before' on past quiz shows such as Grand Slam and Stake Out.

The Beast was live tweeting his viewing experience on Sunday, offering fans a blow-by-blow of what he thought of Walsh's latest TV project in real time.

It wasn't all bad, as he enjoyed certain elements of the game show, such as the fact that contestants ceremoniously put their bank cards into machines to transfer the funds they were putting a stake.

Labbett dubbed this a 'nice touch', while jokingly adding: "Card out, pin in…Brad's trying for a new catch phrase."

A few minutes later, he shared another post to X which read: "If this goes to series I am applying, or am bankrolling as many serious quizzers as they will let on…or train up some quiz assassins."

But Labbett began to smell a rat around 20 minutes into Million Pound Shot.

He wrote: "Having said all that, I am wondering if it is going to pivot to an 'evils of gambling' theme."

As we all now know, he was bang on the money – as the contestant who plied thousands of pounds into the game, Reece, was actually an actor.

But before this was revealed to viewers, Labbett began complaining that he had 'suddenly lost interest' in Walsh's show.

Once the secret was out, he was seemingly glad that the twist brought a bit of excitement, as he wrote: "Thank god for that."

Finishing off his review of Million Pound Shot, the TV star then concluded: "Interesting show, but I wish they actually made a good new quiz show.

"Also wondered how audience felt spending hours on a fake show."

The whole idea of Walsh's latest project was to highlight the techniques used by the gambling industry to prey on punters, and how easy it can be to end up in a spending spiral.

The 66-year-old shared a snap with some of the actors who helped him pull the ruse off (Instagram/@bradderswalsh)

In a post shared to Instagram after Million Pound Shot aired, The Chase host said: "Thank you to everyone who tuned in to watch Million Pound Shot tonight. I know it was a bit of a shock at first, but this is a vital subject and that’s exactly why I wanted to do it.

"A huge thanks to the incredible experts and gambling harm charities who helped shape the show, and to Patrick and Charlotte for so bravely sharing their stories.

"I hope everyone who watched is feeling okay, and has come away knowing a bit more about the techniques of the gambling industry."

In response to the issues raised in Walsh's show, the Gambling Commission said it has 'implemented a wide range of consumer protections in recent years, including tightening rules on free bets' and pointed out that all 'operators are required to look out for and act on the warning signs of harm'.

The donations came from Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, who contributed KSh 5 million, and President William Ruto, who also contributed KSh 5 million, both amounts earmarked to support Bayo's children.

However, Bayo's former husband, controversial preacher Victor Kanyari, publicly accused Tash of having designs on that money.

Speaking during court proceedings, Tash explained that he had approached Kanyari with a proposal to channel the funds into a joint trustee account accessible only when the children turn 18.

He said the two met at a place he identified as Glee to discuss the arrangement.

He expressed frustration that Kanyari then took to social media claiming Tash wanted to set up an account solely to siphon the money for personal use.

Tash flatly denied this, saying he has his own finances and has not spent a single shilling of any brand earnings made through the children's content.

Tash also addressed a separate dispute over a house Kanyari allegedly claimed was located in Rwanda during court submissions.

Tash pushed back firmly, saying the property is situated in Kimbo, in an area he identified as Deke, and not in Rwanda as claimed.

Watch Tash address the Kindiki donation and custody dispute in full:

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke featured Tash after he responded to accusations that he had prevented Kanyari from accessing Bayo's children, saying video evidence available online shows him personally walking the kids to Kanyari's gate for visits.

He recalled one particular occasion when Kanyari returned the children the same evening, telling Tash the kids were "very nagging" and that Tash was "the only one who can be able to live with them."

Tash said he later confronted Kanyari about why he continued making access-denial claims online despite this, and Kanyari's response was blunt: "You don't have to worry about me. I'm a content creator."
