Big Brother viewers have demanded that one housemate leave just days before the final.

It's been seven weeks since the ITV2 reality competition returned to our screens and saw a new group of strangers moving into the famous house. This season has been packed with twists and turns thanks to Big Brother's weekly themes and celebrity guests.

And the drama hasn't slowed down during the final week as a fresh feud broke out on Monday night (November 2), after Catrin made a playful comment that left Frankie fuming. While relaxing in the hot tub, the housemates were joking with Frankie because he "can't stand feet".

However, tensions boiled over when Catrin suggested that Frankie was not being honest about his aversion to feet and claimed she had seen him look at Rochelle while she was doing her nails in the bedroom.

Frankie was instantly irritated and replied: "Nah, nah, because like my girlfriend is watching. Don't be saying things like that." He then stormed out of the hot tub and went to the Diary Room to vent his frustration.

Catrin seemed taken aback by her housemate's reaction to the light-hearted joke and later admitted she "felt bad" for upsetting him, although she wasn't sure why Frankie was so furious.

Viewers at home were just as baffled by Frankie's reaction, with some even calling for his eviction. One commented on X: "Nah, Frankie is doing tooo much wtf. Poor Catrin, let's get him out next asap! #bbuk #bigbrother."

While a second viewer fumed: "Omg get Frankie out #bbuk," and someone else agreed: "Honestly get Frankie out, he's so incredibly moody, what does he actually bring to the house. #BBUK."

Yet another fan commented: "I felt awful for Cat! It was a joke, and he made her feel so bad – whereas if someone else said it, I doubt it wouldn't have been a big deal." And a final watcher said: "Frankie, it's never that deep. Go home if you're that worried #bbuk."

The online backlash could spell trouble for Frankie because the public is now in complete control over who takes home the Big Brother crown on Thursday (November 5). The housemates with the fewest votes will be kicked out of the house one by one until the winner is left standing.

Despite the recent wave of trouble, Frankie still has his share of supporters. One defender shared on Reddit: "I think Frankie hate is a bit unfair. I know he comes across a bit hypocritical at times, but to me he's just like a decent lad struggling with who he is, and when he does come out of the house, I don't think he really deserves everyone laying into him."

Someone else agreed: "Yeah, he definitely seems like such a nice guy. He's stood up for Yasmin when Rochelle was making horrible comments to her. However, I just feel like we didn't see a lot of him. The hate is definitely unfair on him"

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX

Sarah Ferguson ‘in contact with Andrew’ as she settles back into UK life

Sarah Ferguson is settling back into family life in the UK and is still in contact with ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, it has been claimed.

The former Duchess of York fled the country last year after being caught up in the Epstein scandal, but recently slipped quietly back into Britain. She went to ground following the release of millions of documents about paedophile Jeffrey Epstein by US authorities, which shed new light on her association with him.

But just last week she was pictured for the first time in London in more than a year, when she was spotted attending a memorial service with daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie for close pal, Paddy McNally.

Now, her spokesperson has told PEOPLE that since returning to the UK, she has been spending time with her daughters and five grandchildren.

They said: “She’s resettling here, lying low while she looks at the next stage. She’s happy spending time with her family and focusing on her relocation. She is embracing her family life and seeing her grandchildren.”

It is unclear if she has seen ex-husband Andrew, who now lives on the Sandringham estate, in person but it is understood the two are in contact. The spokesperson added: “They have an ongoing cordial and supportive relationship as co-parents and co-grandparents.”

It is understood that she has since slipped back into the UK and has been keeping a low profile at a new property in the Home Counties. The Mirror has contacted Sarah Ferguson’s spokesperson for comment.

The Epstein scandal hit Fergie in September 2025 when it emerged that she wrote to the convicted sex offender, calling him a "supreme friend" despite publicly disowning him – prompting a string of charities to drop her as a patron. Meanwhile, in documents released in January, Fergie appeared to say to Epstein in an email: “I am at your service. Just marry me.”

Fergie's ex-husband Andrew was stripped of his titles by the King because of “serious lapses of judgment” over his friendship with the late paedophile Epstein.

The pair had lived together at Royal Lodge in Windsor for years after their divorce but are now living apart after the shamed ex-prince was forced out of the property.

Fergie also lost her courtesy royal divorcee title and reverted to her maiden name, and lost the freedom of the city of York, after councillors voted unanimously to remove the honour over her links to Epstein.

Last week, it emerged that detectives are investigating the time the ex-prince, Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell spent at the King’s private estate in Scotland.

Police Scotland said it had received “information” and a probe is at a “very early stage” into the time the disgraced royal spent with the late paedophile financier at Balmoral. The Daily Express reported the inquiries relate to claims that women were trafficked to the estate.

Pictures previously released by the Department of Justice in the US appear to show Andrew and Epstein on a shooting trip at Balmoral.

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19, his 66th birthday, following allegations that he shared sensitive information with Epstein during his time as the UK’s trade envoy.

Andrew was interviewed under caution before being released under investigation, and denies wrongdoing, with the police probe ongoing.

Ellen DeGeneres breaks down over death of producer Matthew Wright in 'unfathomable tragedy' and donates $5,000

Ellen DeGeneres has shared an emotional video paying tribute to her former colleague Matt Wright following his shock death last week.

The late 52-year-old served as executive producer on the star's since-shelved talk show for nearly two decades. He passed away on Friday (30 October) in what his family have described as an 'unfathomable tragedy'.

In a tearful video, DeGeneres, 68, dubbed him the 'the glue' that held the crew of The Ellen DeGeneres Show together for so many years as she shared her sadness.

Wright died while he was working remotely in Los Angeles, according to a GoFundMe launched by his loved ones.

It explained that the esteemed producer's husband Justin Fusella, his sister Mandy and his beloved niece Sami are in New York, but are all 'desperate to be reunited [with him] for a proper goodbye'.

Matt Wright, 52, sadly passed away on 30 October in Los Angeles (GoFundMe)

The fundraiser noted that both Wright and his spouse had been 'laid off this summer' and asked those who were able to help if they could assist in funding the 'unexpected costs of getting Matt home, a funeral and a memorial'.

Describing the prospect of these bills as 'impossible to bear', the GoFundMe states: "If Matt has ever made you laugh, said an encouraging word right when you needed it, or ordered one too many appetisers for the enjoyment of the whole table, now is the time to repay the favour…And when you’re at dinner and see a sunset, know that Matt is looking down, loving you, but wildly disappointed in what you ordered."

The money raised will help fund costs the family incur for travel and funeral arrangements, while any excess will go into a trust for his 'pride and joy' Sami.

At the time of writing, more than $74,000 (£55,182) has been raised for the Wright family.

DeGeneres is among those who have contributed to the fundraiser, as she donated $5,000 (£3,727) on Monday (2 November).

The former TV star, who boasts a net worth of a whopping $450million (£335million) according to Forbes, also shared a video discussing Wright's death to Instagram yesterday.

Describing her friend as 'an amazing guy' while fighting back tears, she told her 129million followers on the social media site: "He was funny. God he made me laugh. He would surprise me with things he did all the time.

"He was smart. He was kind. He was part of our show…I mean, everyone loved him. I loved him.

"It’s just shocking. It's shocking. We were working on a project to do together that we were supposed to start."

The TV star, 68, donated $5,000 to the GoFundMe launched in honour of Wright (Instagram/@ellendegeneres)

"We’re going to miss him," she went on. "He is and always will be the glue to our entire family at The Ellen Show. I think this is going to be a really…I don't know what I'm saying."

DeGeneres then offered her condolences to Wright's nearest and dearest before adding: "I'm so sorry, because we lost a good guy.

"He and tWitch were so close, so now he and tWitch are together. Dancing and laughing."

Wright was close pals with The Ellen DeGeneres Show's former resident DJ, Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, who passed away in 2022.

At the end of DeGeneres' video, a compilation of clips showing the good times that Wright enjoyed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show played.

Wright joined the talk show's team in 2006 and remained a pivotal part of the crew until the show's finale, which aired four years ago. He is believed to have been involved in almost 1,000 episodes.

Another ex-colleague of Wright's who also worked on DeGeneres' show, Andy Lassner, also issued a heartfelt message in wake of his death.

"We are all in shock,” Lassner said. "He was a brilliant producer and an even better human being.

"The way he looked after his mom, flying back and forth from Los Angeles to New York practically every weekend before she died, showed what an incredible son he was."

Singer Jennifer Hudson also said she was 'so saddened' by Wright's death, explaining he previously helped produced her talk show too.

"He was just back to visit on Thursday for our Halloween show," she said while sharing a snap of them together. "He made such a huge impact on so many people in this industry and beyond!

"My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Matt!"

  • ‘Charles has become the face of every royal controversy – he needs to remind people why he matters as King’

‘Charles has become the face of every royal controversy – he needs to remind people why he matters as King’

King Charles needs to focus on rebuilding public confidence in the monarchy after a new poll saw his popularity hit a new low, claims an expert.

A new poll has shown that the King has received his lowest popularity rating since he ascended the throne, with just 58 percent of Britons thinking of him positively.

While the favourability rating is the lowest Charles has received throughout his four-year reign so far, PR expert Mayah Riaz says the King inherited a monarchy that was subject to more criticism than ever before with scandal surrounding his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the fallout of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the Firm.

However, the Mirror's royal editor Russell Myers believes part of the the King's dwindling rating could be caused by Harry and Meghan's resurgence in the UK.

PR expert Mayah Riaz told the Mirror: “The difficulty is that Charles has inherited an institution that is under considerably more scrutiny than it was during his mother’s reign. The public are less inclined to accept the traditional ‘never complain, never explain’ approach, and expectations around transparency, accountability and public responsibility have also changed considerably.

“On top of that, I’d say that there is a growing sense of royal fatigue. People are dealing with their own financial pressures and everyday challenges, so when they see the monarchy dominating headlines for the wrong reasons, it creates a disconnect between the institution and the public, who they are supposed to represent.”

Throughout the first years of the King’s reign, he has been forced to deal with a slew of scandals, most notably the arrest of his disgraced brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and the return of his son and daughter-in-law Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the UK.

In navigating both of these dramatic situations, the King has been put in a difficult position between his duty to the Crown and looking after his family, which, according to Mayah, may have contributed to Charles’ dwindling popularity with the public.

Harry and Meghan returning to the UK has put Charles in a difficult position

“I’d say that Charles has arguably one of the most difficult PR jobs in the country because he is expected to be both a father and a monarch, but those two roles don’t always sit comfortably together,” Mayah explained. “Needless to spell it out, the Harry and Meghan situation presents a completely different challenge. Their return to the UK brings renewed attention to family divisions that the Palace would probably prefer to keep private. But in today’s media landscape, we have seen family disagreements involving the Royal Family rarely stay private for long.”

The Mirror's royal editor Russell Myers added: "Harry and Meghan's move back to the UK was supposed to, in some quarters at least, mark a fresh start. The public clearly hasn't bought it. Their return looked more like royal cosplay than a genuine attempt at rebuilding bridges.

He continued: "It seems a great many Britons agree. Charity visits with all the trappings of an official engagement, coupled with fresh briefings that they were hard done by, have done nothing to win people round. If anything, the closer they get, the less the public seems to like what it sees."

With the monarchy still handling the situations surrounding both Andrew and the Sussexes, Mayah has warned the King that he needs to handle these matters in the right way to appease the public, or he will risk becoming an even more unpopular monarch.

    King Charles

PR expert Mayah Riaz believes the King needs to focus on his work (Image: GETTY)

She added: “The danger for Charles is that he becomes the face of every royal controversy, regardless of whether he has personally caused it. He clearly cannot control every family member, but he will ultimately be judged on how he responds to the situations he finds surrounding him.”

Despite the King’s popularity falling in recent months, the recent poll conducted by YouGov shows that the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the notion of the Firm as a whole, still proves to be popular with the public.

“The distinction is important,” Mayah said. “The monarchy as an institution is still relatively well supported, which suggests the public are not necessarily turning their backs on the Crown itself.

“However, Charles’ personal rating has fallen to its lowest point since becoming King. That tells me the public are making a distinction between supporting the institution and how they feel about the person currently leading it.

“What I find interesting is that William and Catherine continue to enjoy considerably stronger popularity ratings. That suggests the appetite for the monarchy is still there, but the public may be increasingly looking towards its future rather than feeling entirely connected to its present.”

Mayah has urged the King to focus completely on his work for the monarchy rather than getting involved with royal scandals, as he works to rebuild Britain’s trust in him as a monarch, rather than seeing him as a crisis manager for the Firm.

“I think the King needs to focus on rebuilding public confidence rather than trying to win a popularity contest,” Mayah explained. “The worst thing the Palace could do is appear overly concerned with polling figures or launch an obvious charm offensive. Instead, Charles needs to demonstrate strong, decisive leadership. This means showing the public that the difficult situations are being handled appropriately, that accountability matters and that the monarchy is not operating by a different set of rules."

This week has also seen the monarch come under pressure to apologise for Britain's role in the slave trade. King Charles is expected to acknowledge the “dark times” of slavery in a speech at the opening of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) today after Prime Minister Andy Burnham said he is 'open' to calls for a formal apology but ruled out financial reparations.

Every episode released so far can be binged in one go.

A chilling police series perfect for fans of 24 Hours in Police Custody makes viewers "sick" as a new episode returned to television screens this week.

Major Crimes Unit previously gripped viewers with brand new episodes, but that came to an end last month and was replaced this week on television screens. But Channel 5 aired a gripping replacement that all true crime fans will not want to miss.

Murder Suspect No.1 was first released in 2025 and instantly became a hit with true crime fanatics who crowned the show as being "as good as 24 Hours in Police Custody".

    Murder Suspect No.1

Following top homicide teams, the series plunges viewers into the inner workings of police forces as violent murder investigations unfold, with viewers watching as detectives work against the clock for justice.

On Monday (November 2), a chilling new episode – which marked the second episode in Series 2 – aired on Channel 5 at 9pm as it explored one man's harrowing confession and a challenging murder investigation.

Channel 5 teased: "A man walking along the hard shoulder of the M40 confesses to murder; police discover a woman dead at her home in Havant; and detectives must prove what happened when their suspect refuses to talk."

The new episode came after a lengthy wait for viewers as the last new instalment was released earlier this year. But in bad news for fans, Murder Suspect No.1 is not on the television schedules next week, and it is not yet known when a new episode will air.

In the meantime though, fans can binge watch every episode so far, all free of charge. Here's everything you need to know about the gripping series that continues to bring in high praise.

There are currently seven episodes of Murder Suspect No.1 that have so far been released since it first hit screens last year. It's not yet known when, or if, new episodes will air on Channel 5, but in good news for fans, every episode can be streamed online.

Viewers can catch all episodes on Channel 5 online for free as instalments include a brutal axe attack as well as a one punch murder.

From the first 999 call to the final courtroom verdict, the series place viewers deep inside the investigation, as officers piece together the evidence, challenge suspects in interview and race to uncover the truth. Channel 5 has teased: "We follow top homicide teams as a series of violent murder investigations unfold."

The latest instalment once again horrified fans as one true crime fan took to social media to say: "Wow, what a horrific way to die. Honestly, that was absolutely evil what he'd done to her." They later added: "Be prepared."

One person commented: "Wasn't it horrendous", as another echoed: "Was absolutely brutal." A third added: "I literally nearly threw up thinking what she went through."

The newest episode isn't the only one leaving its imprint on Channel 5 viewers as previously, watchers admitted they were left feeling "sick" after brutal scenes.

  • Brad Pitt’s and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Vivienne becomes fourth child to drop his name

Brad Pitt’s and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Vivienne becomes fourth child to drop his name

Brad Pitt's and Angelina Jolie's daughter Vivienne becomes fourth child to drop his name

A California judge has approved Vivienne’s petition to drop her father's last name.

Following the hearing on 2 November, the 18-year-old now goes by ‘Vivienne Marcheline Jolie’ officially, rather than ‘Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt’.

As reported by Page Six, Judge Virginia Keeny told the Los Angeles Superior Court: “There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted.”

“The Decree is signed and filed,” the order adds. “The Petitioner’s name is changed from Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.”

Vivienne joins Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh who have taken only their mother’s surname.

Brad Pitt, 62, and Angelina Jolie, 51, share six children: Maddox, 25, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 20, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 18.

In the petition filed in July, Vivienne lists the reason for the name change as ‘personal’, according to a court document obtained by Page Six.

“I have six very individual human beings in my home. I am so excited about all the different stages and feelings and curiosities that they go through. Why wouldn’t you be?” Jolie told PEOPLE in 2021.

“We’re supposed to help them figure out who they are. And you can’t figure out who they are if you don’t enthusiastically develop with them.”

Just two years after tying the knot with Pitt, Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, alleging that the F1 actor was abusive towards one of their kids during a private flight.

Three years on, the pair were officially divorced but their assets and child custody were still being decided.

Vivienne stated that the reasons are 'personal' (Raymond Hall/GC Images)

It took until 2024 for both parties to finally reach a settlement.

One of the reasons why it took so long is because shortly after Jolie's divorce filing in 2016, Pitt was investigated by the The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) over allegations of abuse.

Both organisations dropped their investigations and didn't file any charges.

However, the former couple are still locked in an active legal battle over the French winery Château Miraval.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were married for two years (MJ Kim/Getty Images)

Pitt sued Jolie in 2022 after she sold her 50% share of the $164 million estate to Tenute del Mondo (the wine division of the Stoli Group, owned by Yuri Shefler) without his consent, claiming it violated a prior agreement.

Jolie countersued, alleging Pitt waged a vindictive campaign against her following their 2016 split.

A California court and appeals court have issued a series of rulings favoring Pitt, including ordering depositions from Stoli Group and Tenute del Mondo executives and reviving claims against Shefler in California.

Pitt's legal team has been pushing to examine Jolie's financial and tax records dating back to 2017, which her lawyers have opposed as an invasion of privacy.

The broader litigation involving the winery and the third-party buyers continues to move forward toward trial.
