Sports Principal Secretary Elijah Mwangi has defended the planned exhibition match between Bayern Munich and Ajax, saying the event will be financed by private sponsors ahead of its scheduled kick-off on January 5, 2027.The match is expected to mark the official inauguration of the Raila Odinga International Stadium, with the government facing public scrutiny over the cost of hosting the two European football clubs.
