Joho Issues Fireworks Guidelines Ahead of Diwali and Hindu New Year Celebrations

Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Ali Joho has issued guidelines on the use of fireworks during the upcoming Diwali and Hindu New Year celebrations, warning dealers and organisers against violating safety regulations.In a notice issued on Tuesday, November 3, Joho said the celebrations would run from November 6 to November 8, 2026, with fireworks displays expected at authorised venues across the country.
