Crown Prince Christian of Denmark, born Christian Valdemar Henri John on 15 October 2005 at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, is the eldest child of King Frederik X and Queen Mary.He became Crown Prince and first in line to the Danish throne on 14 January 2024, following the abdication of his grandmother Queen Margrethe II and his father’s accession as king.
