"Asanteni sana Wadosi wetu wa Limuru. We are African and Africa is our Business," the leaders said as they thanked the people of Limuru for the massive turnout.

Photos and videos from Limuru Town showed thousands of supporters lining the streets, cheering, waving flags and chanting slogans for change, proving that the opposition is gaining ground in Mt Kenya without Gachagua.

Many Kenyans online said the turnout is a clear message that Mt Kenya is not owned by one person, and that leaders like Nyoro, Karua and Matiang'i have their own massive following.

Supporters said the Limuru tour proved that unity among opposition leaders is working, and that Kenyans are hungry for a new leadership that will fix the economy and create jobs for the youth.

The leaders promised to continue with joint tours across the country, insisting that no single leader can liberate Kenya alone.

They urged Kenyans to remain united and peaceful ahead of the 2027 general election, saying the time for radical change has come.

The Limuru tour has now set the stage for a major political battle in Mt Kenya, with many asking whether Gachagua is losing his grip on the region.
