Safaricom reported a 72.8 percent jump in half-year profit to September, driven by higher M-Pesa and mobile data revenues in Kenya, while losses from its Ethiopia business narrowed.
First-half net profit rose to Sh50.3 billion from Sh29.1 billion, raising the telco’s dividends outlook.
