Edwin Sifuna's Linda Mwananchi Movement (LMM) has emerged ahead of President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and Rigathi Gachagua's Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) in the latest Politrack Live opinion poll.

According to the poll, Sifuna's movement recorded a commanding lead over the two established political parties, signalling growing public interest in the outfit and its political agenda. However, the specific percentages were not provided in the available information.

The development comes amid Sifuna's growing political activities across the country as he seeks to strengthen the movement's grassroots presence and attract more supporters.

Linda Mwananchi has also gained political attention through its engagements with prominent opposition leaders, including Gachagua, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and other politicians exploring possible cooperation ahead of the next election.

Meanwhile, UDA continues mobilising support for President Ruto's re-election bid, while Gachagua's DCP is seeking to expand its influence beyond its Mount Kenya stronghold.

The latest findings could reshape discussions surrounding opposition politics and the 2027 succession battle, although opinion polls reflect public sentiment at a particular moment and are not necessarily predictions of election outcomes.
