Orengo Warns Gachagua’s Election as President Would Be a Disappointment for Kenya

Siaya Governor James Orengo has said it would be a setback for Kenya if Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua were to become president in the next general elections.Speaking on Wednesday during a media interview, Orengo said that although Gachagua could be eligible to run for the presidency if cleared by the courts on his impeachment charges, his election would reflect poorly on the country’s political direction.
