60-year-old man killed by falling tree while cutting it in Bungoma

A sombre mood has engulfed Namakhele Village in Tongaren Constituency, Bungoma County, following the death of a 60-year-old man who was killed after a tree being cut down in his homestead fell on him.The deceased, identified as Protus Wanyonyi, reportedly sustained serious head injuries and died while being rushed to Bungoma County Referral Hospital.
