CHIEF REGISTRAR REMOVED FROM JUDICIARY

Chief Registrar Judiciary Anne Atieno Amadi’s struggles within the corridors of justice seem far from her past.

In the petition filed before the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), British trader Demetrios Bradshaw, a director of Bruton Gold Trading LLC, wants Amadi removed from the JSC.

“The Judicial Service Commission takes the necessary steps in line with all applicable laws and removes her from office with immediate effect,” Demetrios wrote.

Through its lawyers, Murage Juma & Company Advocates, Demetrios claimed that there was a direct between Amadi and the company that handled the transaction.

“That there is no evidence that Anne Atieno Amadi ever ceased control and or handed over the firm to any of the Advocates indicated in the website, the most recent certificate from the Registrar of companies still indicates Anne Atieno Amadi is registered proprietor of the firm,” read the application in part.
