RUTO OFFERS THIS POWERFUL POSITION INORDER TO TAME RAILA

Experts have predicted that former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga is likely to find himself at crossroads if his opponent president William Ruto chooses to appoint his former allies.

According to the Wednesday People Daily newspaper, His Excellency the Head of State is likely to award Raila’s former allies in order to tame the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader.

Sources have disclosed to the Wednesday PD (Page 4 of Wednesday’s E-paper)that some of the shortlisted candidates who ditched Raila Odinga has been promised the Chief Administrative Secretary jobs which could be smart move to tame the opposition leader.

This comes hours after the Public Service Commission shortlisted candidates who were lucky and will subsequently be interviewed for the powerful positions that were created by His Excellency the former Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta.

The shortlisting comes at a time when the Kenya Kwanza Alliance leader William Ruto has been working with leaders from Nyanza region in order to reduce the influence that Raila’s ODM enjoys.

Among Raila’s former allies who have been shortlisted is former Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero who hails from Raila Odinga’s Homabay backyard as well as former ODM elected Kisii county governor James Ongwae.

Fred Outa who served as Kisumu county senator and also Nicholas Gumbo who contested for the Siaya gubernatorial position are also likely to be considered by His Excellency the Head of State.
