KENYANS LOCKED FROM ACCESSING HUSTLER FUND

President William Ruto on Thursday, March 2, launched the Biashara Loan – a financial inclusion program of the Hutlers Fund.

The loan, according to the Head of State, will target Micro Small and Medium Entreprises (MSMEs) with needs of capital ranging from Ksh10,000 and Ksh200,000.

“We are now launching the Individual Micro Enterprise Loan Product,” Ruto stated.

However, many Kenyans who tried to apply for the Biashara Loan from Saturday to today have been met with a rude shock.

According to many who have tried to apply the loans, they are receiving an error message that they can not complete the registration due to failed KRA PIN validation.

Further, the error is directing loan applicants to visit KRA offices to have the issue resolved.

The error message reads as follows;

“Dear Customer, we are unable to complete your registration on Biashara Loan as your KRA PIN failed validation. Kindly visit KRA branch for assistance or to register for a PIN.

Kenyans who have visited KRA seeking to have the issue resolved have further been met by a rude shock, as the taxman has been caught unaware by the error hence not able to immediately resolve it.

According to reliable sources from KRA, the Biashara Loan was launched but they were not given any directive on how to handle any technical hitch that may arise touching on them.

Kenyans have registered their disappointments saying that the error as locked them out from accessing finances to better and improve their businesses.
