GOVT TO RECRUIT 15,000 POLICE OFFICERS WITH SALARY OF KSH200K

The government intends to hire 15000 police officers in a bid to beef up security in various parts of the Country.

According to the star, the Kenya kwanza administration led by president William Ruto is keen on hiring the officers within a period of three years.

Details contained in the budget proposals by the justice law and order sector indicated that the government will recruit a fraction of the 15000 required men in uniform this year and the remaining In the next two years.

The move is aimed at combating crime Which in the recent past has been a menace in some parts of the country especially the bandit prone areas of Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet and is urban centres.

Interior cabinet secretary professor kithure kindiki has been on the forefront in the fight against bandits and crime following a deadly attack on the police officers last years in the north rift.

In addition to regular police, the government has been engaging the services of police reservists.

The move by the government to hire extra police officers comes at a time when a number of kenyan youths are struggling with joblessness hence it could not have come at a better time.

Those interested will only be required to be keen as they a wait for the official adverts by the national police service commission.
